  • Short Summary

A good item about a demonstration outside the Mountview Prison in Dublin.

  • Description

    Dublin, Ireland.

Tense scenes outside Mountview Prison as crowds gather (possibly in connection with the Sinn Fein prisoners on hunger strike).

    L/S of the prison gates.

L/S of a tank driving through the crowd outside the prison. L/S of armed soldiers holding back the crowd with bayonets, the tank hems them in and prevents them from escaping. A man in the crowd lifts himself up and brandishes the Irish flag at the soldiers, the crowd cheer - very evocative.

L/S of an armed road block, in the distance we can see the crowd.
