• Short Summary

Men act out mediaeval fights and we see how their costumes and weapons are crafted.

  • Description

    St Mary Cray, Kent.

In a field we see two men preparing for a reconstruction of a mediaeval battle; they are dressed in authentic chain mail costumes and put on helmets and pick up shields and weapons. The men 'fight' in the field while others in costume watch; one of the men 'spears' the other as he lies on the ground.

Several shots show Derek Caitlin and John Waller in a workshop making helmets, painting chain mail costumes and filing swords. A woman sits in another room, sewing a heraldic symbol on a flag. More shots of men fighting in the field.
