Models are displayed - a ship, a locomotive and a tractor.
Story about miniature models.
First on display is a model ship. We first see a C/U of this ship bobbing on a paper ocean, then a longer shot revealing that the model is part of a automated display which is rather like a music box. The lid presumably opens and a handle is turned to start the ship moving (we don't actually see this process though.) A model locomotive is next. A man operates the mechanism that makes it move.
"This model goes back to the dawn of railway travel - but it works!" M/S of the model maker tweaking his locomotive. We then see a "Super Tractor" model. High angle shot of the tractor. Various shots of the model maker fiddling around with the tractor. "There's no sense of humour in the law - it must bear the regulation size number plate!" L/S of the inventor sitting on his model tractor and moving through the street as onlookers stand around and watch. M/S of the tiny tractor pulling along a cart upon which a crowd of schoolboys perch. Spectators walk alongside the tractor.
