Bernice Hughes (my mother) went on to become a magician. She travelled extensively the world working as Bernice and later as Lyn Sharon. She is now retired and lives in Vancouver, BC.
Bernard, her brother, went on to become an illusionist. He appeared in various circuses in Europe and I worked in their act from 1965 (when I was 12) for 3 years. He died sometime in the 90s I think.
My Grandfather, shown in the audience, was the most famous of the 3 and Jack Hughes is still mentioned as one of the great modern creators of magic.
My grandparents raised me and our house was crammed with magic pieces he created in his workshop at the end of our garden and painted in the tiny sprayshop in the alley by the kitchen in our 2 up 2 down N.London house. Tommy Cooper was a regular at the house and he created for all the big names. I still see his props in TV reruns featuring magic. I spotted his Zig Zag illusion in a Columbo episode a while back. He died in 1981.
