Racing pigeons recruited for war effort by ARP (Air Raid Precautions). Coal Miner Mr Dickson (aka Dixon) donates some of his pigeons to war officials as emergency message carriers. Various shots of officials training birds to carry coded messages tied to their feet. We see the birds being released and flying back to Mr D, who removes the message. Various shots of Mr D feeding his pigeons.
