Start of the FA (Football Association) Cup 5th round football match between Birmingham City and Millwall. GV. Millwall kick off. David Pacey runs forward with ball but loses it to Eddie Brown. Peter Murphy slips the ball to Noel Kinsey who slips it back to Murphy. He edges onto Brown and Brown starts to run up-field. Birmingham attacks. GV. Massed crowd. LV. Alex Govan throws the ball to team mate who puts it back to him. Govan brings it under control but he is worried by Veitch. He beats him, makes down the left wing and centres. Kinsey heads the ball into net. Birmingham 1- Millwall 0. GV. Crowd. LV. Hazlett crosses the ball into Birmingham goal area where Gill Merrick jumps and grabs it although harassed by a Millwall forward. He turns and clears it up-field where it goes out to the right wing. Birmingham attacking. LV. Lloyd waiting in his goal. SV. Murphy with the ball, slips it out to the left wing. SV. Govan collects and crosses it into the Millwall goal area where Brown makes a leaping dive to head it but it is wide. SV. Crowd. GV. Birmingham on the move. Kinsey with the ball puts a long one into Millwall goal area. SV. Crowd. LV. Ball going into the net and is kicked out by spectator from behind the goal. Birmingham's second goal scored by Govan - we do not see the goal. GV. Massed crowd cheering. Half Time. SV. Right back Jeff Hall passes to Smith who runs on and flicks ball back to Hall who jabs it forward to Watta. Watta lets it go to Gordon Astall who collects and sends a long ball up-field. SV. Crowd. Birmingham's third goal we do not see it again - Noel Kinsey scored this one. LV. Ball is just rolling out of the net, pan to the players congratulating. GV. Massed crowd, part cheering with rattles. LV. Milwall takes a free kick, camera pans. It is headed on but Merrick collects safely and kicks up-field. LV. Lloyd waiting in his goal. LV. Ball comes into the Millwall goal area and Birmingham player kicks it. LV. Ball is rolling out of the goal with Lloyd flat on his face on the ground - Birmingham are four up - again, we did not se the goal. GV. Cheering crowds. SV. Pulley sends it across Birmingham goal area where it beats Merrick. Birmingham defender trying to head it clear. He heads it back to Shepherd who hooks it into the goal for Millwall's consolation. Ball in net. Final score Birmingham City 4, Millwall 1.
