Donald Jeffries, his wife and two daughters are inside; the windscreen is decorated with a commemorative sash. Mademoiselle Bridgette L'Eclerc, daughter of the head of the Boulogne Chamber of Commerce, presents Mrs Jeffries with a bouquet as pressmen take photographs. Two gendarmes look on.
