We have to stand absolutely with our great American allies and pay off at the other end of the world, debts as heavy as ever we inflicted on her and I shall have to ask you - or whoever stands in my place - and whoever it be I shall support him - we shall have to ask you whatever the matter however the matter may go we shall have to ask you for a new ...a new lead forward, a new lift of soul and body in order that this second heavy war for which we have suffered too much insults and injury, the war against Japan will also be brought without undue delay to a conclusion all together free from any doubt".
