World War One; ceremonies. Another memorial unveiling ceremony in a church. Opens with nice shot; framed by arch in FG; row of people walk single-file toward camera; with the priest in front carrying a large cross held above his head. The people enter: 3 priests; several altar boys and a crowd of women and old men in dark clothing. Priest on platform next to large Union Jack hanging vertically; he helps a little old lady in mourning -- black veil etc.--step up. She unveils the memorial. Another old lady comes up with a wreath; and hangs it on the memorial. DS pan over heads of people. CU priest; old lady stand in front of fence; he reaches back and uncovers another shrine. Religion; home front; casualties.
