MELTING STEEL IN A PAPER BAG
Tottenham Court Road, London.
Close up shot of a piece of metal placed inside a cellophane bag - the idea is to melt the steel by high frequency induction heating before the bag is burned. Several shots of the two men placing the bag at machinery enabling the inside of the bag to be heated without applying external heat. The melting process is seen in normal speed and slow motion. The bag is burnt by pieces of molten steel dropping onto it.
