• Short Summary

Meggie Eaton and the Pianovilles perform 'Goodie Goodie' in the studio - from PT 329.

  • Description

No titles. Meggie Eaton and the Pianovilles perform 'Goodie Goodie'.

    Pathe Studio, London.

The Pianovilles, a drummer and two pianists, play while Meggie Eaton, from the Windmill Theatre in London, sings and tap dances. Meggie wears a white costume - shorts and little tailcoat affair with diaphanous sleeves and black bow tie.

Ron notes that her singing is not quite in tune! I would add that this is a very articulated and 'English' rendition (cringe) of a good Johnny Mercer swing tune - SL.

This was originally an item in Pathetone PT 329.
