M/S of the horse drawn float coming to a standstill. The May Queen is helped off the float. She walks towards a war memorial, two boys dressed as pages hold her cloak, another carries a wreath. The May Queen and her attendants lay the wreath on the memorial, a policeman waves back a crowd that is blocking the procession's way.
