Mary is a chimpanzee who drinks tea from a teacup and smokes a pipe.

M/S of a chimpanzee sitting at a table in the open air sipping from a cup of tea. There is a tray with a teapot upon the table. Mary puts the spout of the teapot in her mouth then lifts the lid off and looks inside.
"And she's very particular about her pipe." C/U of Mary sitting on a wooden chair poking a pipe cleaner into the end of a pipe then putting it into her mouth. M/S of Mary picking food up off a plate and eating it. C/U of the monkey eating. "But, it's time I went for my stroll", said Mary to Mr Cherry Kearton, her owner." Mary is seen walking along with Mr Kearton. "Goodbye." Mr Kearton bends down to talk to Mary and she runs off.
