    Mark Hambourg stands by grand piano and introduces Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C Sharp Minor. He tells of its "extraordinary appeal to popular imagination" and explains it has been played all over the world and arranged for every instrument, even adapted for jazz dancers.

    He sits at piano and plays. Includes close shots of his hands on keyboard. He stands and bows at end of piece.

    Followed by title trailer telling us to 'Look out for next week's Pathetone with Norman Long, the Celebrated Entertainer.'
