  • Description

    Title Missing.

Shot of large animated map of part of China. The Great Wall of China is shown. On the right of the screen stands a man dressed in Ancient Chinese warrior armour.

Intertitle reads: "The Chinese Wall would stretch, easily, five times across England!!!"

Five outlines of Great Britain appear on screen. We are shown that the wall stretches for 1,500 miles. Numbers flash up and then we see a picture of the moon which is 2,160 miles in diameter.

Intertitle reads: "The thickness is exaggerated only. Length and shape dead correct. 1500 miles straight 1255 miles curved."

Shot of Moon with line drawn on it to represent the length of the Great Wall. Titles flash saying insert Library Shot. Various other quick flashing titles including 'Just Walls Mr Noble" - possibly an instruction to animator Joe Noble.

N.B. Item found in Unidentified Gazettes reel.
