Mantovani and his Tipica Orchestra play the ballad, 'Reginella' - dupe of PT 237.
No titles. Commentator introduces Mantovani and his Tipica Orchestra.
Pathe Studio, London.
Item starts with shots of cloud formations and waving leaves. We hear Mantovani and his Tipica Orchestra, an eight piece gypsy-style band, playing. Cut to the studio where we see Mantovani in evening dress playing violin. The rest of the orchestra wear gypsy-type costumes and play the ballad 'Reginella' (mostly strings, but also accordion and piano).
The guitarist stands and sings, with captions in English on screen for us to follow (or join in with): 'Oh Reginella, in your eyes, a wonder light of love there lies' etc. Close shots of the accordionist as he plays.
This is duplicate of Pathetone PT 237 - see separate record for details. Also exists in 'Pathetone Parade of 1940'.
