    LV. Interior of Naval laboratory in Washington. Dr. John Hagen talking to students. CU. Dr. John Hagen with model of rocket, he takes off the head and takes off the top of the head. CU. Part of rocket, pan as he takes out bulb arrangement and holds it up to the glass. CU. The bulb arrangement, he takes a little bulb off and holds it in hand - bulb is presumably a model of satellite.

    SV. The actual satellite being assembled - a sphere being put together. SCU. Man dropping something into the top of the satellite. SV. A hood being put on top. SCU. The final cap is put on the top in position - zoom in to the top of the satellite. SV. Satellite set up for balance test, it starts to revolve. SV. Man comes and shines torch on it. CU. Flashing on satellite - shot in dark room.
