    Man cuts down a large tree by machete and then slices the bark. Shot of a man in a large "Coolie" style hat rowing a small boat down a river. It is towing logs behind it. The starch from which Sago is made comes from bark. Two men are seen grating the bark by hand with large grating tools. The grated bark is poured into a vat where a man tramples on it. Water from the river is added to the bark as he stomps it down.
