    Location of events unknown - probably somewhere in Britain.

    Making lorries: truck assembly line. Factory w/ both men and women workers. Excellent quality on whole story. Opens w/ shot of workers - men lining up 2 sets of wheels on axles. 2 men coming out wide entrance: one in suit; one in overalls; like a manager and shop foreman' in BG some of the vehicles are near completion; and women workers stand by the trucks. Another man standing at entrance CU 2 men move an engine into position - it is hanging from chains above. Man and woman workers working in front of truck. Frame lowered from above to fit over wheels. CU Man crouching inside frame; connecting shaft.

    Labour. Vehicles; transportation; World War One; home front; war work. Industry; cars.

    The name above the radiator at 00:35 tells us that this is a production line for AEC vehicles.
