• Short Summary

Moulds are used to create exact replicas of antiques, they are sprayed and aged to make them look authentic.

  • Description

    Camden Town, North London.

Edward Paddon creates models of antiques and makes them look as dated as the originals. Various shots of different antiques including masks, candelabras and cherubs. A reverse mould is made of the original, various shots of the moulds being filled and painted.

We see the various processes involved including smoothing, spraying and painting the model, as well as ageing it to make it look like an antique. One is compared to the original and we see different models after they have been finished, including a hippopotamus and a panther.
