    M/S of Rossa's wife Mary Jane (Irwin) and his daughter Eileen wearing funeral dress. M/S of statue in Dublin City Hall, pan down the name O'Connell can be seen on the base. People file past coffin (tricolour flag is draped over it) lying in state (this part of film transferred at wrong speed). M/S of Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa in coffin. Pan right to Irish Republican Brotherhood member Thomas Clarke. Funeral procession coming down street, carriage carrying coffin. Shots of hundreds of people in Dame Street and Cork Hill outside Dublin City Hall holding up umbrellas. L/Ss of soldiers marching down street (do not look Irish - possibly French).
