    London.

    A cross between a caravan and coach produces the Carabus full of modern gadgets for a self-contained journey. Various shots of the Carabus being assembled and tested. M/S as the finished article drives along and comes to a stop. We see a man and woman demonstrate the various gadgets inside, including a tape recorder under a foldaway bed, an intercom system, an electric cooker and a little dishwasher. A man presses a button and a mini is lowered down to the ground on a platform from the back, for use on those narrow country roads.
