    Brussels & Louvain, Belgium.

    Various shots of the pressmen waiting about outside government building in Brussels. Various shots of the arrivals of politicians and shots of the Parliament in session to discuss the problem over the division of French and Flemish speaking students at Louvain. Prime Minister of Belgium Van Den Boeynant and his deputy Mr DeClerq are present to defend against the anti French politician Mr Varroken. No solution was found and now the government will have to go to the King for advice. Various shots around Louvain showing the university and the area planned for an extension to the university. Scenes in the streets of Louvain. Various shots of the riot police moving in with their vehicles and students starting their march in protest about the teaching in French and Flemish in the university. The students meet head on with the police and the hoses open up and little trouble arises. GV. Along street showing life being back to normal.
