    Optical effect - expanding circle with ship approaching. Circle shrinks; to black screen Another circle bit; CU steps of ship; Army man descends; then Lord and Lady Talbot. Pan left as they go down; Davy Stephens at bottom greets them; bows; shakes hands.

    British Army men assist Lord & Lady T. to car outside the Royal George Yacht Club. Dublin Metropolitan Police stand on the pavement. Then shot of cars driving around corner - street scene; or traffic scene - a few different types of cars. Boy runs across in interval.

    Finally; what looks like a sort of armoured car drives around; w/ soldier & rifle poking out of top.

    Military; something to do w/ Irish revolution; rebellion ? Irish nationalism.

    May 1921. Arrival of Viscount Fitzalan (Lord Edmund Talbot) at Kingstown prior to being sworn in as Lord Lt and Governor General of Ireland.

    Armoured car is standard 1920 pattern Rolls-Royce deployed in Ireland at the time.
