Lord Mayor's Show - part 2. London.
Parades. Lord Mayor's Show; during World War One. Parade in progress; floats passing left to rt. Munitions factory float. Types of Airships. WRAF float w/ aeroplane on it. Marching band leads CU Lord Mayor's crew coming from coach. Back to parade. Cavalry? Girls marching in uniforms. CU men in fur-trimmed cloaks; flat berets; climb out of carriage. Steam - powered truck. More women march. Women on back of truck; simulating some sort of work - looks like a kitchen. Another marching band. Women's Land Army marching; also wagon piled w/ bales of hay. Royal Marines? Sailors. Soldiers. Truck w/ wingless aeroplane.
Open coaches approach - a whole procession of old guys in costumes; /coachmen in feathered hats. Ornate coach. Australian Army band. Young boys in uniforms marching - cadets. Followed by Boy Scouts of various ages. Fade to soldiers - don't know where from. Shot looking over heads of crowds; building in BG has Public Subway sign. Also has A.D. 1696 in raised stone. Slow pan left on crowd - people jostling; pushing; some trying to walk through Lord Mayor & crew; in robes; wigs; hats; etc.. CU group of flags display w/ striped tent in BG.
Opens with shot of flag display (of British flags) on a striped awning. Parade. Some of same floats. Some of the floats appear to have the remains of captured German aeroplanes on of which has a backwards swastika symbol painted on the side. Groups of marchers (as in Part 1); going down a different street, with people sitting on roofs. Several more shots of the procession.
