    L/S of a float full of sailors and naval flags driving up the road. M/S of mounted Guards and cars making their way along watched by big crowds, the traffic stops. L/S of Edwina and Louis walking down the church path followed by bridesmaids. L/S as sailors run along pulling the bridal car on a rope, L/S as cars drives up and down. L/S as wedding guests walk along the road. L/S as a man puts an umbrella up to shield the bride from the rain as she walks out from under an awning and gets into a car with her father (?). M/S of policemen holding the crowds back.

    M/S as a bridesmaid climbs out of a car followed by a couple. L/S as another car draws up, Louis Mountbatten and his best man, Prince Edward, Prince of Wales get out. The float with sailors on rides past. M/S as bridal car draws up, Edwina and her father get out. M/S as King George V and Queen Mary arrive together with Queen Alexandra and another woman. M/S as other guests get out of a car. L/S of the huge crowds surging forward to look at the cars. The float comes up the street followed by sailors pulling the bridal car on a rope, they attach it to the float which carries on pulling it. Another float follows. L/S of a convoy of cars driving through the crowds. L/S's as float and bridal car continue on their way and the crowds wave and cheer. M/S as sailors tie something to the front of the car.

    L/S of people gathered outside St. Margaret's church. M/S as men in naval uniform with cocked hats and long coats form an arch with their swords as the couple emerge. Brief M/S of the wedding party posing for picture, the Prince of Wales chats to Louis Mountbatten.
