    M/S as open top bus approaches a stop, a woman waves it down, but it doesn't stop because it is a special tree cutting bus. M/S as it stops under an overhanging tree, and the man saws and clips the branches that get in the way. M/S of the branches in the bus. Various shots as they clip the branches from front and side then sweep them up. C/U children sticking their tongues out. M/S as they run to collect the conkers which have fallen. C/U of grinning children again.

    The bus seen here is an AEC Regent, reg. No. GK 6277.

    It was originally a normal everyday bus, but was converted to a tree-lopping vehicle after its original body was destroyed in an air-raid.
