    Crowds at Hatfield airport. A woman walks toward a new aircraft and breaks bottle of Champagne on it. She is Mrs Richard Linton, wife of Agent General for Victoria who named the new de Havilland plane 'Comet'. The new plane is to compete in London - Melbourne Air Race.

    A man is addressing the crowds around a plane - he talks into microphone. Nose of a plane reveals the name "Grosvenor House". Cut back to the man speaking. Younger man speaking, back to the pervious speaker.
