    The footage here was short for the Thames Television children's television show "Magpie".

    "Bill Shankley" in text and tags should read Bill Shankly.

    "two young players are with him signing contracts" - the player with the ginger hair is David Fairclough, later to gain great fame at Liverpool, earning himself the nickname "Supersub".

    "Various Shots of Footballer Jimmy Case training" - actually that's Tommy Smith.
