    Justice. DS crowd gathered outside Old Bailey courthouse at trial of Lt. Malcolm. Tops of hats - many 'boaters'. a truck drives past the guys who are standing around. Another DS of crowd milling around outside the big building; some people come out and the crowd cheers and waves. Lt. Malcolm is declared 'not guilty' and is released. Acquittal.

    The man in question here is Lieutenant Douglas Malcolm, of the Royal Field Artillery.

    In September 1917 he was charged, and subsequently cleared, of killing Anton Baumberg, who it seems had been involved with Malcolm's wife. More on the story can be found here....
