    Various shots of angry crowds jeer men and women, all collaborators, as they are escorted from house to bus. The collaborators walk gauntlet of aggressive mob with their arms in the air. Some of look as if they have been beaten, one of them gets rough treatment from the crowd. The police have to hold back mob.

    Various shots of cheering crowds in Rennes, greeting their liberators. The British and American given great reception. People wave French, British and American flags. We see the crowd joining hands to dance in the streets. We see soldiers in streets being kissed on cheeks by French Mademoiselles.

    Adding a possible date to this clip, Rennes was liberated on 4 August 1944.

    As a sidenote, the Bata shop we can see at 01:01 existed until 2015 at the exact same place.
