A 22,000 ton American warship is controlled by radio from a nearby minesweeper.
Full title reads: "America. Latest Wireless Marvel! 22,000-ton Dreadnought 'Utah' - without a soul on board - run entirely by Radio in amazing test."

A bugler stands on the deck of the U.S.S. Utah. As he blows his instrument sailors run to abandon the ship. The US Naval crew climb of the Utah onto a smaller boat. They even lift off their ship's mascot - a small terrier called 'Skippy'.
L/S USS Utah.
On board the minesweeper 'Robin' an officer looks out of the wheelhouse with binoculars. A radio officer stands by a machine. C/U of his hand as he throws the switch to move the Utah over to radio control. He follows order to change various controls on the ship.
M/S as the whistle blows on USS Utah. (Sadly the radio control chap had just pressed the 'Searchlight' control.)
The radio controller uses his controls to alter the course of the ship. Shots of the ship altering course. The officer with binoculars watches the Utah and calls out another command. The radio controller follows his orders. Another shot of the Utah.
C/U The radio operator presses the 'Whistle On' button. C/U of the Utah's whistle as steam comes out.
