    Wartime land mine found on holiday beach at Weston Super Mare.

    Weston Super Mare, North Somerset.

    Four soldiers are seen at the beach covered in mud. Camera pans to show a large land mine sticking out of mud close to them - this is Birnbeck Island which was used as a weapon research establishment in World War II. Pan along muddy beach, then pan back to the men working on clearing the mine - they are to explode it. Several shots of the people watching from distance. LS. Explosions at sea. Jeep with 'Royal Navy Bomb and Mine Disposal Unit' sign on.
