VS. In textile factory in Japan showing long lines of spinning mills and women walk up and down to check the bobbins for breaks in the yarn etc. The girls try wearing roller-skates to cover the distance of the long line of machines a little quicker and easier.
In Szeged a new invention has been installed, an electro-motor driven chair which is programmed to automatically stop moving wherever there is a snapped bobbin thread, and will continue to move along only after the defect has been mended
