    M/S of busy street. M/S of electric tram towing trailer passing through main square. The trailer is packed full of Japanese people. Various shots of Japanese people being deloused by soldiers before getting onto ships. Narrator comments: "Everybody gets a once-over with louse-killer - you'd expect some of them to drop dead but they don't". Various shots of Japanese men, women and children getting on board ship. They are only aloud to take as much as they can carry so all wear large back packs. They are each given equivalent of £16 as they board gang plank. Overhead shot of ship laden with departing Japanese.
