Various shots as Billy sees his wife off to work and receives some last minute instructions. He closes door and goes into kitchen to read list on table. He reaches for overall from which springs feather duster, he throws that on the floor and puts on overall. He picks up the goldfish bowl takes one out and eats it before walking over to the sink. He turns on the tap and nothing happens, he handles the pipe and begins to pull out a length of material which goes on forever. He attempts to pour the beer into a wine glass (crowned top is still on the bottle). The glass begins to fill by itself, he attempts to drink the liquid but the glass begins to empty. He pours milk into cake tin then turns it upside down but nothing comes out.
He dries the tin and produces four small glasses of milk out of the drying cloth. He pours the liquid into the cake tin and reaches into the cupboard. He picks up bag marked 'self raising flour' from the cupboard. He lets it go and it floats into the air. Next he takes a tin from the cupboard marked 'Tea'. He places empty glass in the tin. He withdraws the glass now full of liquid. This liquid he now pours into the cake tin. Recipe for cake on table reads "Milk, flour, dates", pan to his hands as he drops sections of a calendar into the tin. He covers the tin then removes the lid to reveal finished cake inside, he puts it on table. He attempts to cut it with no success. He reaches for a hacksaw and tries again. M/S as he gives up trying and pushes the cake away. He tries to cut bread but it is made of rubber. He sits looking dejected and tapping his fingers on table.
