    Various shots of King George VI, Queen Elizabeth (Queen Mother) and Princess Elizabeth (Queen Elizabeth II) reviewing Civil Defence forces. King is in naval uniform, Princess in ATS uniform. The royals inspect the forces and chat to men and women, including nurses.

    Royals make their way to saluting base. Pan over mass of people in uniforms, including ARP wardens. Man and woman in Civil Defence uniform walk past with dog mascot. Civil Defence forces march past including policemen and women, nurses and fire engine.
