  • Short Summary

King George V and Queen Mary look at planes and watch march past at Aldershot RAF station.

  • Description

King at Aldershot - RAF station.

    Hampshire.

M/S of biplane on an airfield. In the background we can just about see King George V and Queen Mary walking about with officials. A plane is wheeled off while the royals watch. Crowds look on while the royals walk across the airfield. The royals get into their car.

King George rides on horseback with two other men (one a standard bearer). They come riding out of a gateway, followed by other officers, some officials in civilian clothes and a lady on horseback. Cars follow this procession - presumably carrying the Queen.

L/Ss of the royals watching soldiers in tasselled helmets and policemen marching along country tree-lined road.
