Cuts for newsreel 46/59 - King and Queen visit Wales.

King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (Queen Mother) walk through crowds of people applauding in the grounds of Caernarvon Castle. The King, in the uniform of Admiral of the Fleet, inspects Boy Scouts and Girl Guides with the Queen. Queen chats to Boy Scout.

General view of castle. L/Ss of King and Queen stand on balcony of castle, bedecked with Union Jack flag, overlooking castle grounds. They wave to the cheering people in the grounds below.

The King and Queen are seen in their car, writing in books. The royal cars drive off. People wait in the rain to see them driving through town and arriving at Town Hall (?) where they are greeted by officials. The royals stand on another balcony and wave.
