    L/S's of King George VI (Duke of York / Prince Albert) and the Queen Elizabeth (Duchess of York / Queen Mother) stepping off a train at Washington D.C. Station in the United States of America. They are greeted by several dignitaries. The King and Queen are seen walking past the Coronation Scot. L/S's and M/S's of the royal couple at the White House in Washington meeting President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and his wife Eleanor.

    L/S's of the King and Queen at the British Embassy garden party. The King is seen talking to the American banker JP Morgan. L/S's of the King and Queen seating in a n open topped car. L/S's of the warship "Warrington" leaving Washington with the King and Queen and head for New York. Their majesties are greeted by the governor Herbert Lehmann. The Queen is handed a large bouquet of flowers. They are then driven to the World's Fair at Flushing Meadow, huge crowds line the streets.
