Soldiers jump out of a stationary tank. Shots of soldiers in undergrowth by road with guns at the ready. A soldier runs to a muddy river, writes a note and passes it to a comrade. The note is passed to a British (?) officer who reads it. Soldiers creep through jungle and crouch down. C/U of soldier.
Soldiers carry tree trunks to muddy river and stick them in the ground to make basic structure of a bridge. Others pull logs through the jungle and rope them together to make bridge across the first ones.
