This town appears to be Blackpool where it was hoped to raise £1m for the War effort. The tank was waiting at North Station goods yard to be taken in a combination of civil and military procession for the inauguration of its position as a bank in Talbot Square (pictured). The newspaper report describes it mounting 'a high obstruction composed of sandbags and wire entanglements' to demonstrate some of the versatility of the machine. A replica tank was also constructed from an open top tram and called Albert after he mayor, Albert Parkinson' made from trams.

This was February 1918 in Blackpool's Talbot Square. That is North Pier behind it when it climbs over the debris. The first image is of the local digntaries standing on Julian outside Blackpool Town Hall.
