C/U of the Admiral speaking in French (natural sound). He calls upon all Free French men and women to stand by the watchword of the Armies of the First Republic "Freedom or Death". Panning shot of the assembled forces standing while their band plays the Marseillaise. M/S pan with the colour party as the troops march away.
