This was filmed at the Empire Cinema, Leicester Square in April of 1933. Jesse Crawford had been engaged for a month-long engagement at the Empire's 4/20 Wurlitzer organ, commencing on April 14th, and then continuing North to play engagements at the Paramount Theatres in Manchester, Leeds, and Newcastle.
The name of the tune he plays is "My Wishing Song," which he recorded at the Empire on April 30th. He made a total of eight sides for HMV at the Empire on April 30th and May 28th, 1933, before returning to the USA.
