    L/S as the camera pans across the damaged city which has been reduced to ruins. M/S from a car as it passes the ruined buildings. M/S as people try to crowd onto the roof of the train to get away. L/S pan across more rubble.

    Note: the title card says 1910 - 1931 at the top and is celebrating Pathe's 21st anniversary. It looks like this footage is from 1923 but was cut in later for the anniversary edition.
