    Italy for tourists. Rome and Venice.
    Rome, St. Peter's from across river with Castel Angelo bridge F/G. St Peter's Square with three Nuns crossing. M/S Square pan to fountain. Pan with horse and cart to the Trevi Fountain surrounded by tourists some with their feet in the water. A boy wades through the Piazza Navona Fountain. The Dog fountain and the Lion Fountain from various angles. A couple drink wine at an open cafe. W/S Coliseum, pan up the side. Tourist take pictures inside the Coliseum and we see the vaults. Tracking round the Coliseum we see Constantine's Arch.
    Pan-Am plane lands at Rome airport, top shot view of the terminal and passengers disembarking.
    W/S approaching Venice from the water. Gondolas move along the canals and under the Rialto Bridge. Travelling shot from gondola as it travels along the canals and under small bridges passing other gondolas. Pigeons and tourists in St. Mark's Square. Details of the surrounding buildings, bronze horses, religious paintings on the stone work. At the top of St, Mark's is the large 24 hour clock and two metal figures who strike the bell. W/S St. Mark's Square with tourists and artists painting and displaying their work on their easels. Shots of narrow streets, tourists and locals buying from the many stalls. Fruit and fish are displayed. People eating at smart canal side cafe's. Tourist goods on display, jewellery, glass figures, scarves, model gondolas.
    Zoom out from the Rialto bridge for a great shot of the Venice Regatta. Hundreds of gondolas and boatmen in traditional costume fill the canal. Shots of the boats as they travel along the canals with their colourful occupants and highly decorated craft. A shot worthy of any period feature film.
