This footage seems to comprise of two separate events, filmed months apart.
Some of it is shot by Sgt Harold R Thompson of the 167th Signal Photo Company, on 17 November 1945, at an undisclosed location. His material shows elements of the 120th Infantry Regiment of the 30th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army.
Some of it is identified on a slate as being filmed at "Ramboullet", (probably Rambouillet in Northern France), on 23 August 1944, by an unnamed cameraman.
