Most part of this video is from Januar 1945 during Operation Blackcock, also known as the Battle for the Roer Triangle, between the Dutch towns of Sittard and Roermond and the German town of Heinsberg. Some of this footage is shot at the Dutch town of Echt,I can identify the Bovenstestraat/Grotestraat , Wijnstraat and Plats (streets) and the old City Hall, nowadays the Tourist Information Centre.
