"O Denley" was better known as Denny Denley.

It seems that the current spelling of "Denley" in this piece is wrong. Here's an obituary from an organisation of which he was Founder and President, spelling his surname "Denly".......

Excellent research - thanks. We've changed the spelling of the surname and added "Denny" to the tags.

At least three of the people shown in trikes were from Northampton and remained close friends. Two of them married and had two children. I personally knew all three throughout my childhood as they were close friends of my parents. My parents are probably there too, along with me as a one year old, but I haven't yet spotted us.
