    (natural sound) 'I need not labour the point that the request for interim measures which we have made is indeed of the greatest urgency. The present actions and the threats of the Iranian Government are such that if they continue they may render in impossible to execute a judgement in favour of the United Kingdom.

    Schorr: Mr. Shayegan could you say why your Govt. is not represented here. Shayegan:- Yes, because the Govt. believes that the Court if not competent.
    Schorr:- And why do you think that the Court is not Competent.
    Shayegan:- Because, firstly that the nationalisation is an internal affair of every sovereign. nation, and secondly because the British Government has nothing to do with this affair.
